I come from big family of mostly boys. I have a collie named Louie, who’s been our dog forever. When it comes to clothes, I prefer jeans and a t-shirt to anything fancy. I also came up with the idea for the Baby-sitters Club; it came to me in a flash when I was thinking about how my Mom had to call multiple sitters for my little brother, David Michael.

Babysitting (especially for David Michael or Jamie Newton), sports (I love them all, but softball is the ultimate!), hanging out with Mary Anne.
