Promoting Your Fair
Complimentary Promotional Allowances
Create Book Fair excitement using FREE product from your current Fair.
 $60 Promotional Allowance*
Use books, up to a $60 value, to promote your Fair.

 $50 Family Event Door Prize
Invite families attending your Family Event to deposit ballot (located on Highlights flyer) in ballot box. Select one ballot – winning family chooses $25 in books from Fair. Child’s teacher also chooses $25 in books from Fair for their classroom. (Books must be chosen from Fair before pick-up)

Posters on Display*
Display one of each poster (located in Poster box) near your Cashier Table.

Book Fair Bonuses
It’s easy to maximize profits and add more books to your library. Ask your
Book Fairs’ Consultant for details on how you can earn up to 60% in
product profit.
Connect Kids to Books
Schedule student previews
and have students fill out Student Wish Lists on back of
Highlights flyer. We have also provided you with a reproducible
sheet (211 Kb PDF) of Student Wish Lists.
Conduct reading challenges. Reward students who reach goals (ie. reading a certain number of books, pages or chapters).
Host “Get Caught Reading” event. Randomly select students found reading and reward with prizes.
Post student’s name & title of their favourite book around school.
Share book talks with students. Or, have students perform them to classes or during P.A. announcements.
Create word scramble using book titles from Highlights flyer.
Have students & teachers dress in outfits to match fair theme. Host a costume parade through halls of school.
Take photos of students reading & post at Fair. When they purchase a book, they can take their picture home.
