Building Classroom Libraries with Books Students Want to Read
Giving students access to good books, fiction and nonfiction, increases reading up to 60 percent and improves reading performance.
The best way to create this type of environment is for every classroom in the school, regardless of subject matter or grade level, to have a well-stocked, regularly refreshed library.
The Scholastic Book Fairs Classroom Wish List program makes it easy to achieve your literacy goals. It’s an amazing way for families to make a meaningful contribution and help fill every classroom with a great selection of books kids want to read.
